True Guacamole

Guacamole is one of the best known recipes around the world. It can be eaten with toasts, chips, crackers, pita bread; or as company to various dishes such as beef, chicken and fish.

Did you know? The word guacamole comes from the Nahuatl word “ahuacamolli” which literally translates to “avocado sauce”.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 “Don Aguacato” organic avocados.
  • ½ onion finely chopped.
  • 1 or 2 serrano hot-peppers finely chopped.
  • 3 branches of chopped cilantro.
  • Lemon juice from a half lemon (optional).
  • Salt to taste.

PREPARATION MODE:

Cut the avocados in half and remove the bones. Remove the pulp into a bowl using a spoon. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix perfectly until smooth and finish by rectifying the salt. Serve however you like it better!
